It had been months since Jackson had stepped in the ring, and it showed. He was floored the minute the bell rang. A few quick jabs to his face tore his face up and blinded him. He knee strikes to his ribs made his every movement hurt. The stomps on his feet made walking almost unbearable and blow to his sternum made breathing a task in itself. Even though his body was in shambles, the real pain came form his memories. It had only been days since Jackson had attended the funeral of the man he considered his brother.

Thomas had always been there for him and the idea of Thomas never being there again was enough to drive Jackson mad. He never handled grief. Normally one night of binge drinking erased some wounds and life would carry on. Not this time. The death was taking its toll on Jackson and it was apparent. His eyes were dark from lack of sleep. His body clearly torn apart from the fight. Jackson felt that nothing could save him. All hope seemed lost and the old graveyard of Emerald Cove seemed to be the only comforting pace for him right now…

Numbs the pain. You don’t have to face your demons when you can’t see straight. It makes you forget about the pain in your life, even if its only for a little while.

Not going to lie…that’s kind of weird.

Not many know, but I won the shop in a prize fight. It was originally a big house with a pool. I just re purposed it. I keep it clean and in good condition.
